Rukia, Rukia, Rukia… What do you guys think of when you hear that name?
Well, I think of this beautiful, intelligent, BAMF shinigami. The one who changed Kurosaki Ichigo’s world, who, when trying to repay his debt to her, changed everyone’s lives and ultimately saved them.
I know that there are some people out there who don’t like her, but I love her to death. I just want to point out the great things about her that make many of you Bleach fans adore her as much as I do.
First off, her physical features are extraordinary. Her hairstyle is unique, and that’s one thing that makes her unique. Those raven strands that seem to spike out in every direction at her shoulders make her look like she’s model status—which she is. Those large, violet eyes are just gorgeous and to DIE for, and her height makes her look so darn adorable. She may not have the most attractive figure, but the fact that she isn’t the typical expectation of an animanga chick is what makes her even more attractive.
Second, her abilities… I think they’re bad-ass. She’s fucking good at kido, and it looks like she spams Sokatsui and Shakkaho a lot, but she can probably kick our asses with those attacks. And look at her beautiful, snow-white zanpakuto, Sode no Shirayuki. Her shikai attacks Tsukishiro, Hakuren, and Shirafune are all executed so beautifully. And Sode no Shirayuki herself is jaw-droppin’ beautiful. Everything about it is beautiful!
And third, she can KICK ASS. She kicked Ichigo’s ass back into reality when he was down about not being able to protect Orihime and Chad. She owned D-Roy, Runuganga the guardian of the sands, and Aaroniero Arrurerie! In the Hell verse, she killed Gunjo in the same way she did Aaroniero! She’s so bad-ass that she even got her own movie…
She also makes pretty damn good speeches throughout the series. “The man in my heart” speech, for one, and “I will always come back!” for another..
I really dislike it when people say she can just leave and come back and everybody will be happy. Have you forgotten that she is a shinigami? Someone who has to fulfill her duties, just like everyone else? Look at how many times Ichigo ditched school and his family back in Karakura to go fight off hollows, arrancar, espada, whatever! He was FULFILLING HIS DUTIES. He’s not just going to sit back and watch everyone die! He’s going to go out there and fight for everyone’s lives! Which is what Rukia is doing because her duty lies within the Soul Society. Yeah, exactly.
Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and this is just mine on Kuchiki Rukia, one of the most important people in the entire Bleach series.

I completely agree. Sure, she can be androgynous but she is one of the most gorgeous girls in the series. Her height is so funny and cute. Her beautiful eyes are just ugh i can’t even
Seriously, I don’t see how anyone could hate her. Everything about her is unique and different from the usual anime girls we see in particular anime and mangas. She’s a badass shinigami who I would be so happy to be friends with. No wait, I’d probably die if I’m able to even meet her. Why is she fictional?! ;-;

Just wanted to point out something here real quick:
She is most certainly NOT androgynous. She does not look like a boy nor have we ever doubted her identity as a girl. She’s tough because she had a hard life, she had to be tough in order to survive life in Rukongai. Yet her grace was not unnoticed, or just ask her and Renji’s childhood friends (or Renji himself) She’s very graceful and pure. If you look at her attacks they’re called “dances” plus her zanpakuto is pristine white, and very elegant. Can’t say she has no feminine attributes either because Kubo, the man himself gave us this. To top it off we have her weakness towards cute things, and how she loves to draw bunnies.
Other than that, I am always happy to know people out there that love her as much as I do. Rukia fangirls forever!
